Cynthia “Cindy” Roberson Gobble
May 31, 2024 - Mocksville, NC
Age 60
Cindy was shot and killed by her estranged husband, after he kidnapped her. He then killed himself.
Cindy had filed for a legal separation, and court documents show that he was stalking her through a GPS tracker on her car as well as isolating her from her family, and had controlling behaviors that led to frequent violence. There were also signs of financial abuse. When she was reported missing, a state wide Ashanti Alert was issued in North Carolina. Her body was found in a field 30 hours later.
Cindy leaves behind 2 adult children and 3 grandchildren, and her family were the center of her life.
