Desiree was lured to a Phoenix hotel room by her ex partner after the July 4th festivities, where he fatally shot her. She was discovered by a hotel employee. Although they were not married, Desiree apparently refereed to him as her husband as they shared two children together.
They had been in family court in 2020 and 2021 working out a parenting plan. But what is most disturbing is his past history with two former partners. One family court case with his former partner spanned from 2007-2020 including emergency hearings, child support evasion, control over passports and return of children etc. In addition, he had children with another former partner and was in family court from 2015-2024 for similar control issues. If Desiree was going to be the third woman he was going to drag through family court, it seems to provide the motive for this killing.
Desiree leaves behind 2 young children and from her TikTok page, you can see what a devoted and loving mother she was to them.
