Regina and her daughter Brittnee were shot and killed by Regina’s estranged husband, along with Brittnee’s three children. He then set the house on fire and killed himself. Regina had filed for a restraining order one month prior which was in place at the time of the shooting. She had previously warned the court that her estranged husband had “50 to 60 guns” and was afraid that he would “get drunk and shoot me”. She also wrote in court documents that her soon-to-be ex-husband verbally abused her everyday and that she was afraid for her life.
