Jessica was shot and killed by her estranged husband. He later killed himself. She had a restraining order against him from April 2023 for stalking that initially had GPS tracking him, however the Judge terminated the monitoring less than 2 months before he killed her. She had filed for divorce and a restraining order in 2020 and endured a lengthy case including dozens of motions and hearings. He had violated a protective order in October 2021 and again in December 2021. He appealed in 2022, but shows he lost the appeal in the Memorandum of Decision.
